A pricing structure for various needs and budgets

Our goal in offering this extensive range of options is to cater for as many needs and financial realities as possible

Prices are per person for the full week. Included is your accommodation, three vegetarian meals per day and a contribution to the overall cost of making the festival possible.

If even the lowest priced options are still out of reach for you, you can apply for financial support from the newly founded “Solidarity Fund” until February 28th 2026. Please also consider contributing to the Solidarity Fund. Even small contributions (e.g. 5€ monthly for some time) help.

Please keep in mind: The budget pricing is made possible by shifting more of the cost to the higher-comfort options. So if you choose one of the “Luxury” accommodations, you’re not only caring for your own comfort and privacy—you’re also helping to keep the low-budget options possible.

Kids & Youth Ninjas

Please also consider joining as a Kids or Youth Ninja:

Kids Ninja and Youth Ninja’s: If you love playing with kids and have experience in working with groups of children of various ages, holding a safe container, organizing fun stuff for them, and hanging out with them, you might want to attend the Festival as kids or youth ninja. Send an email to the organizers if you want more info! We are looking for 3-4 ninjas each, to be with the kids 6-10 year old children (kids Ninja’s) and with the 10 to 18 year old children (Youth Ninja’s).
Ninjas get to attend the festival for free, accommodation (in double rooms), food and festival contribution is all included.

Payment and cancellation policy

IMPORTANT: Your space in the festival is reserved as soon we have received full payment of the invoice. The first 250 EUR are a non-refundable contribution to the Festival, the rest is refundable until 26th of April 2026. After that, we will refund the remaining amount only, if we can fill your seat with another participant. For transparency and fairness, you cannot transfer your place to someone else privately. All available places are offered through our waiting list.

We recommend purchasing travel insurance with trip cancellation (and trip interruption) coverage, especially if you might need to cancel on short notice, to protect your travel and accommodation costs in case of illness, an emergency, or other unexpected events.

The Solidarity Fund

The European NVC Summer Festival (ESF) is a self-organised festival. It has been organised with great commitment by practitioners of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) since 2004. It takes place every year in a different European country.

This commitment is traditionally carried out on a voluntary basis so that participation fees can be kept low. Thanks to this commitment, the ESF has found a place in the NVC scene.

Despite the efforts to reduce costs it still happened that some people who wanted to join couldn’t because of lack of resources. That’s why at the Summer Festival 2025 in Croatia we created a team to start the Solidarity Fund.

We see the Solidarity Fund as a pool of resources to support people (not only financially) to join the festival. We also want to collect donations and raise funds to make financial support possible.
